FASHION PHOTOGRAPHERS:WALDE HUTH

Walde Huth (born January 29, 1923 in Stuttgart) is a German photographer.
 Walde Huth studied photography from 1940 to1943 at the State School of Applied Arts in Weimar. Until 1945 she worked in the color photography development area at Agfa Wolfen.
In 1953 she opened her own fashion and advertising photography studio in Stuttgart. With the outdoor fashion photographs and his ability to establish a meaningful relationship between fashion and architecture Walde Huth  gets a resounding success. She rejects the proposed contract from Vogue and with her husband, the architectural photographer Karl Hugo Schmölz, she founded in Cologne in 1958 the studio for advertising and public relations, called ‘Schmölz Huth’ until 1986.
Walde who is a member of the German Society for Photography still lives in Cologne. Through her work, she photographed haute couture in Paris and Florence. Since the 70s, she also deals with free abstract themes.

Walde Huth (nata il 29 gennaio 1923 a Stoccarda) è una fotografa tedesca.   Walde Huth ha studiato fotografia dal 1940 to1943 presso la State School of Applied Arts di Weimar. Fino al 1945 lavora nel reparto sviluppo pellicole a colori della Agfa Wolfen.  Nel 1953 apre il suo studio di moda e pubblicità a Stoccarda. Con le fotografie di moda all'aperto e la sua capacità di stabilire un rapporto significativo tra moda e architettura Walde Huth ottiene un successo clamoroso. Rifiuta il contratto propostole da Vogue e con il marito, il fotografo di architettura Karl Hugo Schmölz, fonda a Colonia nel 1958, uno studio di pubblicità e  pubbliche relazioni, chiamato 'Schmölz Huth' fino al 1986.
Walde che è un membro della Società Tedesca per la Fotografia vive ancora a Colonia. Con il suo lavoro, ha fotografato haute couture a Parigi e Firenze. Dagli anni '70, si occupa anche di temi astratti.

A few days ago I walked to Via Condotti and in Prada's shop window was displayed  the summer 2013 "Capsule Collection", geometric prints, graphics and lines ... I was immediately reminded of an old cloth preserved along with other pieces of fabric, I came home and scissors in hand .. zac I made this skirt!


Qualche giorno fa passeggiavo per via Condotti e nella vetrina di Prada era esposta la "Capsule Collection" estate 2013, stampe geometriche, grafiche e righe...mi è subito venuta in mente una vecchia stoffa conservata insieme ad altre pezze, sono tornata a casa e forbici alla mano..zac ho fatto questa gonna!

A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM (INTRASTEVERE)

Come ogni anno a Roma si tiene la Notte dei Musei, una notte in cui tutti i musei aprono gratuitamente le porte al pubblico, organizzano eventi speciali e rimangono aperti fino a tarda notte. Noi abbiamo scelto di andare al  museo Intrastevere che  da qualche settimana ha in mostra  la bellissime e fortissime foto vincitrici del premio foto giornalistico World Press Photo 2013, e che nel suo cortile ha ospitato un'anteprima del Live Performers Meeting 2013 con musica elettronica e proiezioni di Noitu, Eho live av performance, Emiko.

As every year in Rome saturday night there was the Night of Museums, a night in which all museums open their doors to the public free of charge, organize special events and stay open until late at night. We chose to goat the Intrastevere museum that was showcasing the beautiful and strong winning photos of the photo journalistic award World Press Photo 2013 and that in its backyard hosted a preview of the Live Performers Meeting 2013, with electronic music and projections by Noitu , Eho live av performance, Emiko. Philip Treacy was born in Ireland , but he moved to Dublin in 1985 to study fashion at the National College of Art & Design in London. He has designed hats for Alexander Mc Queen's white Haute Coutoure collection at Givenchy in Paris, for Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel, and for Valentino, Ralph Lauren and Donna Karan. He was awarded the title of British Accessory Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards on five occasions during the early 1990s. Isabella Blow, style editor of Tatler, helped Treacy launch himself as a well known milliner and wore many of his hats.

 Maison Michel was founded in 1936 by Auguste Michel in Paris. From 70's Maison Michel creates hats for the haute couture and prêt-à-porter collections of companies such as Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Nina Ricci, Laroche, Lanvin and Christian Lacroix. From 2006 Laetitia Crahay, in charge of Chanel’s accessories and jewelry, is artistic director of Maison Michel.
